We are a new, enthusiastic and independent company specialising in high quality yet relaxed and comfortable property rentals, sales and holidays mainly in the beautiful and unspoilt coastal region of the Baix Emporda region of the Costa Brava in Spain. This area has surprisingly survived the ravages of mass tourism and developed into a high quality and exclusive holiday destination.
Having discovered this area of Catalonia almost by accident seven years ago, it took very little time to realise how attractive and relatively undiscovered the region and coastline is. The absence of high rise buildings and mass tourism is very evident and this maintains and preserves the rugged natural beauty of the area.
We returned several times and subsequently purchased a property in the beautiful seaside village of Tamariu. The area is still a constant source of exciting discoveries whether it is new walks along the rocky coast, a great new restaurant or an interesting cultural attraction. More usually something we've never thought of! When the opportunity arose to work closely with a long established, very experienced and quality driven Spanish partner property company based in the area we decided it was the ideal situation through which we could start a new business and share our enthusiasm for the area with others. Our overriding aim is to provide the high quality, knowledgeable and detailed attention we, as experienced travellers, demand for ourselves.
We are currently focussed on the enchanting coastal and inland villages around Tamariu and Llafranc, an area of small, hidden coves, sandy beaches, lovely coastal villages and medieval towns. In this age of mass tourism and over hyped 'cool' destinations this area retains the relaxed atmosphere and restrained development which originally brought tourists to the area 40 years ago. A different type of Costa Brava Holiday where the true name "Costa Brava" was born amongst the rugged pine clad headlands and small sandy bays dotted along the magnificent coastline. Sometimes only walking or boating reveals the truly stunning hidden bays and inlets.
In addition to the stunning coastal scenery and well preserved medieval villages the area offers a wide variety of exciting or relaxing activities, an amazing wealth of gastronomic experiences (El Bulli voted the world's best restaurant is close by) and cultural attractions from ancient Greek ruins to the Dali triangle of museums provide stimulating and unforgettable experiences.
